Small droplets of fluids
contact and adhere to fibre of fiberglass. Flow pushes the droplets along the fibre until they reach an intersection of fibre where they combine with other droplets into large drops (coalesce).
The large drops have a
higher specific gravity than the main fluids. They settle to the bottom of the vessel.
